In 2011, Mitsubishi Shokuhin Co., Ltd. was formed through the business merger of four food distribution companies. Since then, we have worked to support the dietary lifestyles of consumers through our commitment to food safety, security, and stable supply, even in the face of earthquakes, natural disasters, and the Corona disaster.
In 2021, amid accelerating changes in the business environment and the diversification of consumers' lifestyles and needs, we have set "contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through the food business" as our purpose and have set "evolution into a next-generation food distributor" and "resolution of Key Sustainability Issues" as our medium-term vision. The "next-generation food distributor" we are aiming to become is one that continues to protect the food supply chain, contributes to solving social issues, and creates not only economic value but also social and environmental value, so that we will continue to be chosen by our customers and business partners.
