Our company's purpose, “Contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through the food business,” cannot be achieved without the success of our executives and employees.
As a company whose goal is “contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through the food business,” we consider the health of our officers and employees to be our greatest asset, and on health grounds we support the creation of a culture that allows them to participate in the workplace with passion, and also leads to an increase in the vitality and energy of the organization.
We believe that the health of our executives and employees, both physically and mentally, and the fulfillment of their work and life lives will lead to improved business performance and social recognition.
Creating an environment and culture that can continue to produce such results can be called “sustainable management” in terms of health.
We will continue to focus on supporting the health of our executives and employees who support Japan's food industry.

We are committed to maintaining and promoting the physical and mental well-being of our officers and employees under the theme of “cheerful, positive, vigorous, and proactive.”

First, we will build a foundation to support the health of our officers and employees so that each and every one of them can work of their own volition and in good physical and mental health.

Our Definition of Health

As well as aiming for the definition of health as advocated by the World Health Organization, we have created additional definitions for being able to act independently and for being able to control both private and professional lives, as elements that can be felt to be part of good health.
If we achieve improvements in physical health, mental health, social health,independent action, and control of both private and professional lives, this will naturally lead to enhanced self-efficacy, which we believe will enable us to achieve the goals of the Health and Productivity Management Declaration.
