Environmental management system (EMS)

Mitsubishi Shokuhin Group started to obtain ISO14001 certification, which is the international standard for environmental management systems, from 1999 and is promoting environmental conservation activities while making the most of the characteristics of each office.
The group has acquired ISO14001 certification at our head office and some of our other offices and strives to improve the environment. The ratio of certified offices to all offices in Japan is 14% for the entire group and 15% for the company (as of March 2022).
This initiative is organized by the Sustainability Committee, and we will continue our effort to solve various environmental issues, including prioritizing the acquisition of ISO14001 certification for target offices selected by considering the perspective of environmental impact (energy impact), aiming to promote more effective environmental conservation activities.
